At the inauguration of the brand‑new Velana International Airport Passenger Terminal in Malé, Maldives, we had the honour of directing a breathtaking ceremony attended by His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The spectacular event featured the country’s biggest-ever drone show, a Guinness World Record‑setting fireworks show, and a mesmerising bespoke light performance designed and executed by the acclaimed Belgian ACTLD team under the artistic direction of Koert Vermeulen.
